Borosil® Cylinders are manufactured with hexagonal bases for improved stability, and the bases are aligned with the pouring spout such that the spout is protected in case of tipping. Borosil® Cylinders use the same 3.3 Low-Expansion Borosilicate found in other Borosil® products, and are designed with thick, sturdy walls for repeated, long-term use.
